Wrong.
Understand, Wordpress is now the most used script in the world. Powering more websites than Joomla, Drupal, and a dozen other of the latest favorites, COMBINED.
Yup, Wordpress is the king. But many people underestimate it’s power when it comes to running the whole website. Sure, they are used to installing a Wordpress blog somewhere in the backend, but a root installation, preposterous!
No, it’s not. This site happens to run completely on Wordpress, as do many of our other websites. It’s a perfect system for periodic content additions, and the plugins available are really hard to beat.
Add to that about a million or so awesome theme designers and WP is the CMS champion, hands down.
Now, I’m going to draw some Joomla and Drupal groupies with this post, I’m sure. But even they will have to agree that neither Drupal nor Joomla are near as easy for the non technical end user. That’s you, Mr. and Mrs. Business Owner.
